SAVD also detects the Indian mutant

The coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, like other viruses, continues to mutate. We are constantly receiving information about new variants that not only affect the course of Covid-19 disease, but also the frequency. Several thousand mutations of the SARS-CoV-2 virus have already been detected. The changes most often occur in the surface proteins, which determine how the virus is recognized by the organism it attacks. GeneMe is a certified reagent manufacturer, and continuously checks scientific reports for changes in the SARS-CoV-2 virus to ensure the highest possible quality of our tests. Currently, the following mutations are most commonly detected; B.1.1.7 (UK), B.1.351 (South Africa), B.1.1.28 (Brazil P1, P2) and B.1.617 (India). Our research has shown that regardless of the mutation involved, the SAVD, FRANKD and RT-PCR test reagents will detect infections with reliable accuracy.
